The BG Electrical Moulded 831 is a white single (1 gang) double-pole switch with an indicator light, rated at 20A .

Part of the white moulded round-edge range, the 831 is constructed to a modern standard design and so is a great value option for a huge variety of domestic and commercial installations. As a double-poled switch, rated at 20A this switch is especially suitable for hard-wired appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines.

To accommodate said appliances, it has a flex outlet with a cord grip in the lower edge with dedicated knockout. Fitted with an indicator neon light, this switch is excellent for areas of limited visibility, such as under kitchen counters or utility rooms.

The 831 is simple to install; supplied with fixing screws, installation instructions and angled colour-coded terminals with captive screws, retrofitting into an existing backbox (minimum depth 25mm) is made easy. To allow for an even safer, high-integrity protective connection, the socket is twin earth fitted to allow a double earth facility.
